Answer: A 1/2 pound of powder will make about 25-30 ounces of strained paste. Any natural henna powder can be used to refill the kit. The 228 grams is to get you started. Question: Could I make it up at 8 ounces a time? Answer: The instructions are set at about 2.5 ounces of paste, but you just have to double, triple etc. to get more. a triple batch should fill the 8 ounce bottle. Question: I take it that this way my paste would be much fresher? Answer: Yes and no Henna our recipe needs time to set and ripen, the kit gives you more control over your schedule, that is the reason we are offering the Hennaware Kit. Question: Is it really as easy as it looks in your little pictures? Answer: Yes there is not much to mixing henna this way, it is fast and effective. Question: How long does it take to mix it up, can many things go wrong? Answer: Its very easy and takes about 5 minutes to mix, the straining however depends on how much paste you make.
